Graciana is a custom character for Genesis 8 and 8.1 Females that was created by Sangriart.  We currently have 11 other characters in the database by this talented artist!  We will link to the other characters below if you want to check them out.  This charming young woman comes with unique features and is based on a similar but older likeness to Elkatarina (you can read our review of her here).

Materials

Graciana includes both PBR and legacy UBER Iray shaders, which produce high-quality and realistic renders. Her PBR shaders also include new AO shaders and Micro textures.  For those who are newer to 3D modelling, In the world of 3D modeling, an “AO texture” usually denotes a texture used for “ambient occlusion”. Ambient occlusion is a method of simulating the soft shadows that form when objects are in close proximity or when surfaces are curved away from a light source, and is commonly used for shading and lighting purposes.  She also comes with several eye colors, lip colors, eye shadows, and even an eyeliner. Additionally, Graciana comes with fibermesh eyelash and brow attachments, which add an extra level of detail to her appearance.

Shaping

Graciana requires no additional morphs, which makes her a breeze to use in your DAZ Studio projects. She comes with one full shape preset, and a head shape and body shape add/remove preset.  As a bonus she also includes a head asymmetry morph to make her more real world.   Finally we also  have three custom smile presets to make which are very welcome.

Her unique features and attention to detail make her a standout choice for those looking for a custom character to add to their library.  The promo renders show her in a range of genres from fantasy to the everyday and she looks great in them all.  Here she is as a fairy sat in someone’s bird bath!  Let’s hope she can fly away from birds of prey!

Comparison to Similar Characters

Sangriart has created another character based on a younger likeness of Graciana (see link below).  We have also found a number of other characters that bare a similar likeness.  The majority of these are for much  older character generations such as V4.  Graciana has got to be the best version that we have seen. The attention to detail and unique features make her a standout choice.  Also as she is built on Genesis 8.1 she has many of the latest features and advancements.
