Uzilite Super Hero for Michael 4 is a fantastic superman 3d model!  This free character was created by Uzilite over at the Renderosity marketplace.  The product page over at renderosity just contains a brief contents list.  But have no fear, when you download the package theres is lots of excellent free content.  This includes a full superman outfit, the character morph and a superb hair prop.  There are also two iconic superman poses included. Please read on to find out more about this 3d character.

Materials

Their are textures included for all the clothing items with bump maps.  They look just like they’re out of the 1980’s movie when rendered in Daz Studio.  You also get a texture for the hair prop.  We would highly recommending updating the hair with a new iray based shader, as the default material will look like plastic otherwise!

 

Shaping

The face morph is very good and creates a strong likeness to iconic superman characters.  They have done a great job with all the facial features but you may want to adjust the ears as they tend to stick out a little.  The shaping of the hair prop is superb and an excellent match to supermans iconic hair style.

What can this model be used for

This character has been licenced by the creator for non commercial works only.  They advice users to contact DC Comics for any commercial usage.  This character will look excellent in parody artwork of any kind!

Comparison to Similar Characters

This character is also free and a good up to date version of superman.  Both characters have a good likeness to a classic superman character, with the ShareCG version having the benefit of being much newer and compatible with the latest features of Daz Studio.

Uzilite Super Hero for Michael 4 – Overall

This character is an excellent super hero freebie.  It contains an excellent hair prop and M4 Superman outfit.  The face morph is also a very good likeness.  There are however newer alternatives for users who are no longer supporting Michael 4.
