HID Mikaela is a beautiful new character for genesis 8.1. This is the first character we have included by the artist HID3D. It is also the first Genesis 8.1 figure we’ve included! As you can see from the promo images, HID3D is an incredibly talented artist. We will certainly be including much more of their work!
HID Mikaela and Daz Iray PBR Skin Shader
Her skin is designed for daz studio users to be able to quickly create highly realistic images. She is optimised for the latest PBR (Physically Based Rendering) Skin Shaders. We took several test images with her in both indoor and outdoor scenes and she looked great! The Iray PBR skin shader works really well with HDRI backgrounds. If you’re not familiar with HDRI, it stands for High Dynamic Range Image. It is basically an image that also contains data used to create realistic lighting effects in your daz studio renders. It takes very little effort to create realistic scenes this way.
