About the Celebrity
Uma Thurman is on of the world’s most famous actresses. She has thrilled movie goers for several decades and starred in many groundbreaking roles across many different film genres. Fans of Quentin Tarantino’s movies will no doubt recognise her from pulp fiction and the Kill Bill trilogy. Uma started her career in the 1980’s as a fashion model. She made notable appearances in “Vogue” magazine before getting her first movie role in “Dangerous Liaisons”(1988).
In 1997 movie goers were treated to an excellent adaption of DC Comics Poison Ivy by Uma in the movie “Batman and Robin”. In the same year she starred in the Sci-Fi classic Gattaca.
Uma Thurman has received numerous awards during her career, including a golden globe for her performance in 2002’s “Hysterical Blindness.” We look forward to seeing her in many future roles.
